Finally!

I was tired of waiting for a call with my surgery date, so I called my Oncologist's office and the assistant said she was going to call me today. Well, I guess I saved her the trouble...
They've booked my surgery for Monday, May 7th at 8am. I'm booked in for 2 days, but she said it may be 3 depending on how quickly I bounce back after the surgery.

So I'm just finishing up the major projects at work, and I need to make some progress on completing my bathroom renovation. I have 2 weekends to make that happen. I can do it!

In case you're wondering ... no, I don't need any visitors while in the hospital. I won't be there long, and intend to use the time to rest and recover.

After the surgery, I'll be off work for about 6 weeks, so I'm contemplating how I can use that time. I'm thinking a bit of writing, some spring cleaning, and maybe even a vacation to some tropical location in the last week.

Anyway, I likely won't be updating now until post-surgery. Thank you all for your support and love. I'm ready to put this little obstacle behind me as soon as possible!
